Introduction

The Trade Union of Tashkent State University of Law is a public organization established based on the Charter to represent and protect the labor and other socio-economic rights and interests of employees related to the general professional interests of employees in their activities. Today, the university's Trade Union has been transferred to the Electronic Trade Union platform. All documents, applications, and financial statements are processed in an electronic system.

Information on Projects to be Executed by TSUL Trade Union in 2024

Today, the United Trade Union Committee of TSUL advocates for and safeguards the labor and socio-economic rights and interests of employees, encompassing their professional pursuits and areas of study, as well as veterans. The committee facilitates access to information and offers social support, fosters comfortable and safe working conditions within educational institutions, promotes internal tourism, and organizes vacations to various sanatoriums aimed at enhancing the health of employees and their families. Additionally, it coordinates collective cultural, entertainment, and sports events.

According to letter AP-01/83 dated May 1, 2023, from the Council of the Tashkent City Division of the United Trade Union Committee of the Education and Science Employees of Uzbekistan Trade Union, as of May 11, 2023, public institutions and public service employees of Uzbekistan have been transferred to the service of the trade union. During the plenum of the Trade Union Committee, 11 members were elected. The permanent working body, comprising members of the Executive Committee, consists of five individuals: M.K. Orazaliyev as chairman, G.A. Nasirkhodzhaeva as Head of the Department of General Education Sciences and Culture, I.Kh. Bozorov as Head of the Operation and Maintenance Department, N.J. Niyazova as Professor V.B. of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, and Sh.Sh. Polatov, who serves as the director of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.

Collective Agreement Overview

General Information

The 17-chapter Collective Agreement for the period 2023-2026, designed to safeguard the socio-economic rights and interests of team members concerning labor, was finalized between the university administration and the Trade Union Committee on February 28, 2024.

The execution of the provisions of this collective agreement is subject to ongoing public oversight. The commission responsible for monitoring the adherence to the terms and obligations comprises equal representatives from the Trade Union Committee and the Employer, along with the Chairman of the Honorary Council of TDYU.

Membership and Appeals

Currently, the TSUL United Trade Union Committee comprises 675 members, including 85 from the M.S. Vosikova Academic Lyceum, out of a total of 760 members.

In 2023, the trade union committee received 290 appeals from employees, comprising 152 requests for financial assistance and 138 requests for referrals to sanatoriums and daycare facilities.

As of October 9, 2024, this figure had decreased to 289, with 154 appeals for financial aid and 135 for referrals.

Financial Support

The total amount of financial support disbursed by the University Trade Union Committee to professors, teachers, and employees since the beginning of 2024 is 163.2 million soums, based on applications from 154 employees seeking assistance.

  • 248.9 million soums for holidays and various public events
  • 97.7 million soums for health camps benefiting the children of 30 employees
  • 133.1 million soums for sanatoriums and rest homes
  • 200.0 million soums designated for medical examinations
  • 106.3 million soums spent on physical education and sports activities

Social Events and Benefits

The trade union organized various social events and granted preferential access to resorts. In 2024, the trade union recognized 103 employees and their parents, granting them access to the resorts of Chortoq, Ugam, and Livingstone.

Additionally, 30 children of employees received preferential tickets to the "Westcamp" and "Aqtash" children's camps.

Medical Services

Employees currently access medical services through the "Clinic Pro" medical center, which includes comprehensive medical examinations and treatments.

Sports and Community Activities

The trade union coordinates sports events to promote a healthy lifestyle. In collaboration with the Spirituality and Enlightenment Center, nine competitions were conducted in various sports, with participation exceeding 250 employees.

Youth Union and Facilities Overview

Youth Union Overview

The primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan at Tashkent State University of Law held a reporting and election meeting. The meeting was attended by Shukrullokhon Anvarov, the chairman of Tashkent City Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, Ahror Khoshimkhonov, the first vice-rector of TSUL, and students. At the event, a report from the primary organization of the university was heard, and credentials were presented to the new coordinators of the organization.

Sports Clubs

There are about 10 sports clubs at Tashkent State University of Law to create opportunities and conditions for the population, especially young people, to participate in various sports. Those who wish to join these clubs can obtain information about the dates and times of classes and become part of the teams.

Medical Center of TSUL

The Tashkent State University of Law Medical Center is located in the 3rd building of the university and specializes in providing first aid to students, faculty, and staff in case of health problems. The medical center consists of two rooms: the first aid room and the waiting room. If it is determined that the patient needs first aid, they will be transferred to the second room, which is equipped with necessary equipment and medicines for first aid.

Mother and Baby Room

The Mother and Baby Room was organized in room No.209 of Building No.1. All conditions have been created for the children of university employees and teachers. This room was created for the convenience of students, teachers, and employees with small children.
