SDG 16. PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS

"The legal profession has always been held in high esteem, embodying the principles of justice, equity, and integrity. It carries the significant responsibility of upholding the rule of law, shaping societal norms, and protecting the fundamental rights of every citizen."

The Ministry of Justice, together with the Tashkent State Law University, organized the "Propaganda Train" project, which was held in order to widely promote the essence of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan among the population, especially the youth, and to increase the constitutional and legal knowledge of our citizens. Promotional events were organized in 14 regions of our country: the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent and 12 regions by promotional groups consisting of 126 students and 14 professors and teachers of the university. Advocacy groups visited more than 90 educational institutions, more than 70 enterprises and organizations, more than 40 residential addresses, military units and recreation parks throughout our country, and contributed to increasing legal literacy, constitutional knowledge and skills of the population, especially young people.

TSUL was awarded a certificate of conformity of the anti-corruption management system ISO 37001:2016

As you know, the certification audit of the anti-corruption management system of Tashkent State University of Law according to the international standard has been successfully completed. In this regard, a solemn ceremony was held at Tashkent State University of Law to present the certificate of conformity of the anti-corruption management system ISO 37001:2016.

The event was attended by Acting Rector of TSUL Islambek Rustambekov, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Umida Tukhtasheva, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice Jamshidkhon Nuritdinov, Auditor General of Cert International LLC Riad Ibragimov, heads of departments of the university. It was noted that this international certificate now defines the requirements and instructions for the development, implementation, analysis and improvement of the anti-corruption management system in the activities of TSUL.

Most importantly, the ISO 37001:2016 certificate demonstrates that the university's anti-corruption management system complies with international standards, and places greater responsibility on the management staff at all levels to increase and ensure transparency and openness. During the event, TSUL was awarded a certificate of conformity of the anti-corruption management system ISO 37001:2016.

This international certificate now defines the requirements and instructions for the development, implementation, analysis and improvement of an anti-corruption management system.

"Wings of Justice" club was established

At the first online meeting of this club, which was launched by the Ministry of Justice with the participation of legal technical schools, legal lyceum and TDYU students, young lawyers were informed about its goals and tasks. As mentioned, the main goal of the club is to ensure the activity of young people in raising legal awareness and legal culture in society, to develop the skills of working with the general public from the time of studying young lawyers.

During the dialogue, interesting proposals and opinions of young people were discussed on further expansion of the club's activities, effective and consistent work in the future.
